Edinburgh comedy club love session
Kit & Stu in Edinburgh
I met Kit and Stu in a Scottish comedy club. It all started with some laughter and an act of kindness.
You see, I’m an introvert and have never been to a comedy club before. All I knew was that I didn’t want to seat in the front row because everyone knows what happens to those on the front row of a comedy club, right?
Unfortunately as soon as me and my boyfriend arrived there, well, it was not up to us to decide where we would sit and we ended up exactly in the front row *insert small panic attack here*
Fortunately I quickly realized I was not the only one panicking on the front row. You see, right on the opposite side of the stage were Kit and Stu and soon we connected telepathically realizing that we were all in the same boat.
Amidst shy laughter, many undesired conversations with the comedians throughout the show and 3 hours later, the show was over and everyone was leaving the club. Everyone expect Kit and Stu.
Kit came to say hi and in a very shy way told me how cool my hair looked. I was completely surprised but we quickly got along and she presented Stu to me. We got along so well that they wanted to do a photoshoot with me the next day, and so we did!
Originally from South England, this would be Kit and Stu’s last day in Edinburgh and I made it my personal goal to provide the best afternoon to these two lovebirds!
I compiled a list of the best, uncrowded places in this enchanted city and on an adventure we went.
Kit and Stu have been best friends for more than 6 years now and coming from a small village it’s not always easy to love freely without judgment or unsolicited opinions so I wanted to provide them some space and time to cherish these last snippets of total freedom, together.
We spent 3 hours photographing, ending up at Waverley Bridge by the sunset with the night lights slowly starting to appear.
In a mystical city like Edinburgh this photoshoot couldn’t have felt more magical and somehow I’ll be forever grateful to the friendly man who’ve puted me, Kit and Stu on the front row of that comedy club.
Thank you Kit & Stu ♡
